Moosach School: Seasons and Photography

Seasonal weather conditions can play a role in the outcome of any set of photographs. Colour, depth and atmosphere characterise the impression of an architectural project. Although the new school in Moosach remains absent of any landscaping, I had photographed for lbgo Architekten to capture the seasonal conditions. It was late Autumn and the painted timber facade matched wonderfully with the golden leaves and warm glow from the sun.

A modular container system was the basis of the design to construct the school. And despite appearances, behind the timber facade and plastered walls are metal containers stacked together to create the final form — a quick and efficient process.

For the follow-up shoot of the completed project, I must carefully consider when exactly would be best to return.
