Jonathan Sage is a British photographer based in Munich where he collaborates with architects, interior designers and artists to create remarkable and meaningful images of their work.

After twelve years of training and working as an architect in London and Munich, he founded his photography business, unifying his two life-long interests in architecture and photography.

In his work, he puts emphasis on creating authentic, yet creative images. As with his travel photography, he gives depth and texture to his architectural imagery by way of patiently observing and celebrating natural light that falls on each scene.

He encourages a close photographer-designer collaboration, which he believes contributes to the success of his commissions. A clear understanding of concepts and ideas helps him determine how the project is interpreted into a series of photographs and subsequently communicate his clients’ ideas to their clients.

He is commissioned within the German-speaking countries, for the most part, however, he also makes himself available for assignments overseas.
