“During the Burmese New Year, called Thingyan, the Burmese government relaxes restrictions on gatherings and water is drowsed over one another during this 5-day long holiday. Traditionally, the sprinkling of water was intended to metaphorically "wash away" one's sins of the previous year. The moment captured in this image possess suspense as the man floats in mid-air”. - Jonathan Sage
